CAN
Milky blonde with big foam; ringing fresh hop pellet nose with lime rind + lemon verbena that eases off into soap + cedar; Cream of Wheat, big squeeze of grapefruit, fresh pineapple wedges, slight cat, herb leaf, melon rind, some papaya + citrus oil finish; soft + smooth.

Mosaic, Ekuanot, Loral
Oct 8th canning, 1 day before the (pleasantly short-dated 3 month) BBD. Haven’t totally memorized this latest round of hipster hops: Loral is the herbal tea + noble spice one that Stone likes, Ekuanot is the eucalyptus + green pepper one (along with all the fruit) that Cloudwater has used a bunch. As it play, it feels like Ekuanot doing the heavy lifting + Loral adding all the nuance, I think, with enhancement from Mosaic as the “MSG of the hop world” role. Plays out very yellow - none of those big, blousy tropical NEIPA notes, but not a C hop citrus fest either. It’s a hop combo worth noting. And while it’s dead silky, the only thing letting its New England credentials down is a lack of esters - why does anyone consider S04 a NEIPA yeast?
Intricate, drinkable hop pillow with no signs of age from 2 top breweries.
