Pours a hazy orange with soft, fluffy head that leaves some spectacular lacing.
Smell is juicy and sweet with notes of mango, peach, grapes, orange juice, grass, melon and some spicy hints.
Taste is rich and juicy, sweet and a bit spicy. Notes of mango, orange juice, grapes, white pepper, grass and melon. Soft bitterness and dangerously drinkable.
Mouthfeel is medium, chewy, soft and pillowy with good carbonation.
Overall, a sensational beer, everything a NE DIPA should be.

2 months old. Can to wine glass.
L: Pours a full and hazy yellow with a foamy white head that dissipates quickly leaving just a tiny bit of lacing. Couple of floaters gathering in the bottom of the glass.
S: White grapes, medium sweet citrus fruits and hints of pineapple and mango. Slightly grassy, too.
T: Alcoholically fermented white grapes, citrus and tropical fruits. Medium sweet, zesty body and a bitter finish.
F: Very juicy. Soft and smooth in the beginning, sharper as it warms. Low carbonation.
O: Definitely one of Verdant‘s finest IPA‘s and one of the best European one‘s I‘ve had so far. The elegant fruity notes are very nicely balanced by a zesty, alcoholic punch. Very good beer.

Allen is a great DIPA from the UK, looks like a tropical fruit smoothie with yellowy and orangy tones and completely opaque to the light, it is a thick heavy beer with a hoppy bitterness and boozines that is present in the aftertaste aswell as fruity flavors of guava, citric fruits, a bit of mango a bit of oats that you can perceive on the first taste. I drank this beer really fresh less than 4 days after being canned .

Allen pours a rather thick pear juice, dull murky yellow with a nice and full one finger head that dissipates leaving no lacing.
The smell is juicy, citrus with some tropical; orange and mango with a hint of stone fruit, and a slight pine edge. The taste is good, put that up there against some of the NEIPAs out of the Northeast US. This is smooth and full over the palette. Juicy with load of fruit, orange, mango, a hint of peach with a slight white wine characteristic and a sticky sweetness. Only a slight hint of booze and pine in the aftertaste.
