Pours a hazy, orange coloration with a huge, fluffy, lasting head that leaves large, wispy tufts of lace as it slowly recedes. Smells of biscuity malt and citrus/tropical/berry hops, with notes of grapefruit, papaya and gooseberry. Taste is an excellent balance of biscuity malt and fruity, juicy, slightly dank and resinous hops, with citrus, tropical and berry notes of grapefruit, tangerine, mango, papaya, blueberry and gooseberry, as well as hints of pine and grassy weed. Finishes with a light/medium bitterness and some grapefruit, papaya, gooseberry and grassy weed lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a light/medium body and medium carbonation.

The kind of flavor variety they managed to pack into this 4.5% ABV Pale Ale really is quite incredible and that at 3 months old, no less. Verdant continue to impress me as they become more available around here, with this frankly being one of the best low-ABV Pale Ales that I've ever had. The hops really pop here, with Mosiac rather displaying those berry notes that you don't always get from it, while the citrus, tropical and lighter dank resinous accents really shine here as well. Overall this makes for a rather crushable Pale Ale that's packed chock-full of flavor, with a rather nice body and mouthfeel for the ABV as well.
