One of our favourite IPAs juiced-up to DIPA proportions! Strata-packed with a hefty dose of Citra, expect dank pine needles on the nose, alongside clean grapefruit and tropical fruit flavours.

440 ml can, probably from Vinmonopolet Sandnes Kvadrat. ABV is 8%. Murky yellow-ish colour, small white head. Aroma of citrus fruits and yellow stonefruits. Distinct citric flavour, also notes of peaches and honeydew melon, some pine needles.

Blown away. I can't place the malty back end but it's very familiar and grainy and utterly delicious. Opaque peach-coloured neipa in a glass. It must be the oats in the brew that elevates it somewhere else. Hops are citra and strata but it has a slight challenger sort of thing taste to it too. It's incredible and underrated

2 months old. Can to wine glass.
Look: Pours a full and hazy yellow with a white head that dissipates rather quickly leaving a bit of lacing. No floaters.
Smell: Fresh citrus fruits. Mainly orange and lemon.
Taste: Lemon, orange and hints of pineapple. Also orange and grapefruit. Medium sweetness, medium bitterness. Slightly zesty. Even a bit piney.
Feel: Thick and creamy. Medium carbonation and a subtle, long lasting hop burn.
Overall: After being a bit underwhelmed by this year‘s Putty, 40 Watt Moon puts things straight again. This is a superb DIPA with a very nicely balanced body, a great mouthfeel and a classic yet complex taste profile. One of, if not THE best beer I‘ve had from them so far.

On tap. Hazy sunset gold. White head with lace.
This is an outstanding ipa. Has hops and tropical fruits. Love the earthy pine. Melon, tangerine, papaya. Soft and and juicy, but still shows hops. Very impressed.
