Copenhagen 31/10 2024. 44 cl can from Best of Beers web-shop. Yellow can with a black trapezoid full of small yellow dots.
Pours opaque hazy, slightly dirty, golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Clinging to the ides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet and fruity odor mingling with subtle citrus. Sweet peach and pineapple. Grapefruit and lime. Whiff of pine trees.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a strong sweetness followed by an almost as strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a bitter and boozy undertone. Lingering. Finish is rather dry.
Quite the Whale.

Hazy yellow as usual.
Smell is verdant citrus
Taste is the same. Tastes more muted and muddled, especially compared to the track maiden.
Feel is smooth
Pretty nice, hoped for more

Pours a hazy light orange with fine, soapy head.
Smell is juicy and peppery with notes of grapefruit, gooseberries, graes and stonefruit. Crisp and a bit spicy.
Taste is juicy, peppery and spicy. Notes of citrus, mango, gooseberries, melon and grass with a moderate bitterness.
Mouthfeel is medium, soft, pillowy and well carbonated.
Overall, a really nice DIPA, easy to drink but full of flavor.
