An excitingly zippy cask pale crusher. New hops to the fore with a special mention going to the new NZ darling Nectaron! Expect dank tropical fruits, pine needles and a whisp of ganja.

On draught at Viaduct Tavern, London. A cask-conditioned extra pale ale. Clear, straw-coloured with next to no head. Smells of melon and lemon rind. Tastes of white peach and pine needles. Very light body, not quite saved by a smooth mouthfeel and a bone dry finish. These NZ hops in an English pale ale don’t work for me. Too thin, too light, too one-dimensional.
