440 ml can, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 7%. Black colour, large to moderate tan head. Aroma of lightly roasted malts, chocolate and mild coffee. Smooth mouthfeel and flavour. The flavour is not too sweet, and has the same elements as the aroma. Also hints of oatmeal, prunes and burnt breadcrumbs. Moderate but noticeable bittering hops. Very good beer, will buy again.

 

Haven’t had an Oatmeal Stout in SO long so I had to get a glass of this at The International Beer Bar in Zurich. A large amount of Francs required for purchase but regardless very delicious. Rich, roasty, smooth, all the best aspects of the style.
