Copenhagen 11/9 2025. 44 cl can from A Good Case web-shop. Dark can with a sombre, dark red planet not twinkling at all.
Pours opaque hazy, golden yellow with a ,mid-side white head. Stable. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet and fermented odor of over-ripe stone fruits and alcohol. Mingling with a more subtle scent of citrus fruit, Sweet peach and mango, Grapefruit and lemon. Hints of decay.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick. oily. soft. lightly tinging texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a light sweetness followed by a strong, citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with slightly boozy undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry and boozy.
Planets might not twinkle - but who cares when you have a solid DIPA?
