Very hazy golden yellow. Beautiful white foam.
Classic smell, but good. Bread, yeast, malt. Intense and pleasant.
Pleasant reminds of german braustube.
For sure, not an hype beer.
Classic, good taste.

500ml bottle poured into a mug.
Look:
Yellow brass color with hazy texture and many small sediments floating around, thick velvety white head with good retention that gradually subsides and leaves some laces here and there, the visible moderate carbonation can be seen through its cloudy body.
Smell:
Musty, yeasty, tangy citric with a bit of malt.
Taste:
Dominated by yeast that provides a note of sour, citric, tangy, a bit musty and astringency. Some sweet from malt along with a note of floral and bitterness from hop.
Feel:
Light to medium body, smooth with moderate carbonation, finish is dry.
Overall:
This is the first Kellerbier / Zwickelbier that I have ever tried. With no filtration, it has strong yeasty character. Unique.

Golden and lightly cloudy with little fine bubbled carbonation. Topped with 1 finger of off white head.
Pine and chicken soup, a sort of savoury, umami with old pine wood scent. Malt, corn, dusty cellar.
Malt, corn, umami and a hint of that old pine again. A sort of faded floral note as well.
Light body, little, almost silenced carbonation.
Found in Chiang Mai, drank here Nov 5th, 2015. Glad to find this style as I think its wonderful, this beer is perhaps stale though. Still pretty good.
