From a 12oz can with no date.
This beer is pitch black pouring. The head is a thick 3 finger brown head. I did do an aggressive pour here, to see a thicker head. The head is quite long lasting, and there's some beautiful lacing on the glass.
The aroma hit me while pouring, and it's peanut butter. Now, for a closer check. it is a roasted peanut butter aroma, with notes of dark chocolate in the mix. The aromas work well together and are pleasing to my nose.
Taste - well the flavor is less than the nose suggested. I am hit with some dark chocolate up front, and it lingers. The backside has a roasted peanut butter flavor. This beer isn't extremely sweet, but what is there is cut with a bit of bitterness as a finish.
The body is somewhat smooth feeling. Decent mouthfeel. Bitter feeling lingers.
Very good take on the style.

Poured into a Fremont small snifter. Pours a very dark mahogany brown, appearing opaque in the glass with a one finger milk chocolate head that slowly dissipates to A thick cap with light lacing. Aroma of dark toasted malt, peanut butter, mixed nuts and a hint of cocoa. Flavor is dark toasted malt with light char, peanut butter and toasted peanuts and hints of bakers chocolate. Medium bodied with light creaminess. Lives up to its name, with big peanut butter character bursting from the aroma and dominant in the taste. The aroma is nuttier in general, but the taste has some very authentic tasting roasted peanut notes as well as peanut butter; some of the best peanut flavor I've tasted in a stout. Although not that complex, this is only a 5% stout and really has great flavor depth for the ABV. There is a distinct charry smoke flavor, particularly in the finish from the malt that adds more character. I really like this one and glad I have two cans.

12 FLUID OUNCE can
Served in an imperial nonic pint glass
This beer pours black and is topped with an inch of mocha head that leaves little lacing.
It has a nice chocolate and peanut butter aroma.
Chocolate flavor upfront. Dark chocolate. Peanut butter more in the aftertaste.
Medium bodied with a smooth, creamy mouthfeel
I like it. I had it at a bar and that convinced me to buy a sixer.

12 oz can with a May 31 2022 date stamped on the bottom.
Appearance. This has a near black, dark brown color and a decent tan head.
Aroma. Really loaded with peanut butter but also has dark roasted grain notes.
The flavor is bold with notes of roasted peanuts dominating.
Feel. Smooth but seems a bit too thin.

The aroma hits before the pour is finished, hope you like peanut butter in your beer!
Poured nearly black with manilla head that left little tracing. Looks good!
Aroma is all about the peanut butter, but the base beer can be discerned.
The taste is also all about the peanut butter but the beer is more noticeable than in the aroma. Not normally a fan of peanut butter in my beer but they made it work, quite tasty.
For a 5% ABV beer, the feel is rather impressive, full and almost chewy. Something normally found in BA Imperial Stouts.
