The pour is surprisingly dark for a non-imperial stout and was capped with over an inch of head that left sheets of lacing.
I don't smell much (Damned Covid) but I did get some sweet peanut butter (probably sweet = marshmallow but I couldn't tell)
The taste is quite remarkable in its replication of the listed flavors; peanut butter is dominant but the mallow isn't shy either. All of that doesn't suffocate the base stout. It's sweet, but not cloyingly sweet.
The feel is pleasantly viscous, this is a very nice dessert beer to sip and spend time with.
OA, It's an actually very good pastry stout that won't put you under the table.

Served in a snifter
This beer pours black and is topped with a solid inch of mocha head that leaves spotty lacing.
It has a wonderful peanut butter and chocolate aroma with vanilla, but it does not smell overly sweet.
My palate is initially met with chocolate, dark in nature, with a nice sweetness that is not cloying. It is complimented by vanilla. Peanut butter is definitely more on the back end and in the aftertaste. It has a nice balance of comforting flavors without being disgustingly sweet.
Fuller bodied with a smooth mouthfeel
I really enjoyed this beer. It was not 15%. It was not diabetes inducing in sweetness. It was well balanced for a dessert beer. I assumed I would be about ready to vomit after a full pour like I am with a lot of pastry stouts. This is a very well executed beer. I am glad I took a flyer on it. Plus, peanut butter beers seem to be all over the place. This one was right where it needed to be.

On tap at Which Craft Taproom in Midland, MI.
Arrived with a thin beige head over a dark body that's essentially black.
Flavor. Well, there's peanut bitter and hints of marshmallow, but there's also a strong, clear hint of hazelnut. In any case, it's delicious, with a near full, smooth body. Bitter and burnt grain notes in the finish and aftertaste.

This beer pours out a lot darker than I would expect. Has a small dark tan head that goes away quick. Smells of sweet maple and you get a strong taste of something sweet, possibly marshmallow. Could not find peanut butter.

A: The beer is jet black in color. It poured with a quarter finger high tan colored head that left a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface and a wide collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of marshmallows are present in the nose along with notes of peanut butter.
T: The taste follows the smell, except that the flavors of peanut butter are stronger than those of the marshmallows.
M: It feels medium-bodied and rather fluffy on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This stout was a lot lighter in body compared to what I would have expected from a milk stout, especially one brewed the peanut butter. The use of marshmallows really helped to lighten up the body and the strength of the peanut butter.

I love this beer. Finally found a s'mores stout that taste like toasted marshmallow. I want to take it even further, it tastes like a S'mores Pop Tart; seriously. Even the can design is awesome. Also, love that it is sold in 6 packs.
