Decent IPA but I felt the hops-to-malt balance was off. Tried this one on tap at a local gastropub. Pours an amber color with just a little fluffy white cap of head and barely any lacing that quickly faded. Smells of strong malt, weaker muddled fruity hops, caramel, bread and vanilla. Taste follows the nose, quite a weak hops presence and definitely more bready malts that reminded me of an amber ale. Smooth mild slightly thin mouthfeel with decent carbonation. Unfortunately not one of my favorites from this great local brewery.
