Served on tap at the Hilton San Francisco Financial District. Pours rich, clear amber brown with a good head of nearly white foam. Aromas of husky grain, caramel and floral hops. More malt in the taste, slightly toasty, caramel and fruity ale yeast. Crisp herbal hop finish. Light to medium body with crisp, effervescent carbonation. A drinkable and well balanced take on the ubiquitous amber/red ale.
