Pours a jet black with a finger of off-white head that quickly dissipates to a thin ring with scant lacing. Aroma of licorice and raisins. Taste follows nose.

Light proof with a tall brown colored head.
Smells of black licorice and carrots. Dark roasted malt and strong hops. The combination of Lots of hops and the patent malt gives this the carrot smell.
Starts off with lots of patent malt and now near as hopped as it smells. Mildly bitter Pretty much this is black licorice and carrot flavor.
Mouthfeel is OK.
Overall it is OK.
