I have a feeling this beer could be so much better. I had it from a bottle bought at the brewery, poured into a tulip glass. Nice initial head but quickly faded. No lacing. Slightly sweet earthy smell and taste. The beer was slightly flat and a bit thin. I wish I had it fresh on draft. A good beer, but could have been better.
This beer was made for the annual Bockfest in Cincinnati which I would love to attend someday. I am sure this brewery will continue to contribute good beers to this event.
