This is a fine stout that is really made with the ancient grain spelta. This seems to give the beer a spiciness that is a bit sharp but enjoyable. I poured this from a bomber into a tall glass. Beautiful dark brown color with good head and lacing. Chocolate smell and taste. Smokey and herbal, with a bit of apricot. This is another earthy, rustic treat from this brewery that I am happy to have a good connection with through a relative, glad to be able to get it on a regular basis.
