Purchased a bottle of this beer from the brewery. Poured into a tulip glass. Deep reddish brown color with a thin beige head and decent lacing. Butterscotch and caramel smell and taste. Many things going on here. Dark cherries when cold and the rye whiskey from the barrel aging asserts itself as it warms. This is a warming and comforting beer best to be enjoyed when there is a nip in the air!
