I am thinking this would be better on draft. I think the bottled version lost some of its heft. Definitely a lot of strong flavors, but sort of a weak background.
Purchased a bottle from the brewery around Christmas, kept in a frig. Pours a dark, clear brown color, little head or lacing. Very strong bourbon smell and taste. Nutty - hazelnut, almonds. Sweet - toffee, caramel, a bit of marshmallow. Dark fruit - raisins, prunes. A bit thin for all this big flavors.
