Pours a deep honey color with minimal head.
Smell is dark and earthy. Mostly roasted malts and a bit of bready yeast.
Taste is the same: big roasted malt, nuts, and earth. Very little hop presence. Just enough to keep it dry.
Thin mouthfeel. Light carbonation
For a beer this malt heavy, it's refreshingly devoid of sweetness.I could, and will have another...and maybe another. This bottle cost me $1.89, so you won't find any complaints from me.

First off this is NOT a pilsner,it's a helles style lager.Pours into a 1/2 liter stein a deep honey tinged golden with a nice tight one finger white crown atop, love the color and the head that came from the pour.Sweet and grainy aromas along with mild mineral notes.Top notch mouthfeel that's almost creamy in nature with very light carbonation, just great.Flavors are not overly sweet wich I was thinking they might be,some honey and caramel dough with a drying almost spicy finish.Wow this is a damn fine sturdy German lager full in color, feel, and flavor.Top notch here.

500 ml bottle. Pours amber with tall, long lasting, foamy, white head and soda like carbonation. Nose is of stale bread and grassy hops. Body is medium and smooth. Taste is of grassy hops, bready malt and grain. Finish is medium, semi-dry. At least I did not pay for this.

Because it's a German beer, don't get your hopes up over any additional spices (a la winter warmer). Frosty the Snowman adorns the label with a snowy landscape behind. From a 500 ml bottle, on to the beer:
Color-wise, it has the look of an unfiltered lager. Clouded inside and topped with an inch of solid retaining head. The aroma is very earthy. Earthy again. Raw. Kiss of caramel glazed grass. Still, it has a certain appeal to my nose.
That is one raw, tasty beer. The beer is slightly sweet with a raw, earthy and grassy flavor which works very well for a cold windy night like this. In intensity, it's much meatier than the listed "pilsner" style. Paired with a medium-full body and a snap of carbonation, the beer is not only easy to drink, but a fine pleasure to drink too. This is a different, yet exciting way to bring in colder weather.

nice amber color, minimal head. wow, this is like the 4th new beer ive added. i guess the new Total Wine in the neighborhood is a good thing, huh?
smell is sweet and caramel-ly
taste is sweet and caramel-ly, just like so many of germany's other low abv brews, but still very tolerable.
very much like a lot of the other commercial german brews. never considered germany to have commercial brews, but i guess the world is getting smaller, eh?
overall, a decent brew. low abv, but very drinkable. i feel honered to be adding so many new beers...
