look: 4.25 | smell: 4 | taste: 3.5 | feel: 3.75 | overall: 3.75
On tap at the brewery. Look is copper and clear. Smell light ground coffee, some spicy piney hop. Taste is ground coffee up front, then aggressive bitter. Earthy hop flavor, plenty of malt. Feel is ok, maybe a bit on the dry and watery side. Lots of powerful notes in this one, but everything kind of competes. The effect is a bit raw, like it needs to be refined somewhere. Overall OK, but not amazing
