look: 3.75 | smell: 3.75 | taste: 3.5 | feel: 4 | overall: 3.75
On tap at the brewery. Look is orange and clear. Smell is sweet malts and slight flowery hops. Taste brings a decent bitter hop bitter that fades quickly. Profile is flowery of earthy. This goes more on the traditional end, rather than being a citrus bomb like the coastal ipas. Very earthy finish that I don't particularly like, but that is just preference. Malt is balanced. The abv is very well hidden for 7.1. This goes down like a session. Overall a nice Midwest IPA but not breaking any new ground
