On-tap 12/16/2016 at British Beer Company in Walpole, MA, served in a nonic pint glass.
A: The beer is a light gold color, with a short white head that fades quickly and leaves a thick lace on the glass.
S: The aroma is faint but contains fruity citrus, floral hops and light caramelized malts.
T: The taste starts out sweet with flavors of tropical citrus fruits and caramel followed by a decent floral hops bitterness. The malt character is thin for the style but on-target for a “Session IPA” and brings some balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet and slightly hoppy.
M: Crisp and smooth, medium body, light-to-medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.
O: A little tasty, goes down easily, not too filling, mild kick, decent representation of style, this is a decent “Session IPA” to drink for a while.
