Brewed with copious amounts of guava, Guavaland balances sour goodness with the tart and sweet notes of guava fruit.

Very pleasant fruit forward smell upon opening the can. Almost like unwrapping a piece of Hubba Bubba in the 80's. Poured into tulip. Very nice cloudy copper appearance with solid head retention.
The taste is a smooth tartness that's not overbearing and finishes easily. They once again to a great job masking the higher alcohol content so it feels like you're drinking a lighter ale. Listed as a sour double IPA, which is my first venture this subtype. I would have never guessed this to be in the IPA family, but it's certainly an enjoyable drink.

“ brewed with copious amounts of guava , guavaland balances dour goodness with the tart and sweet notes of guava fruit”
Can poured into a tulip
Big frothy soapy white foam , very good retention, settles to a frothy layer , good lacings over a hazy golden liquid
Aroma is tart , guava
Taste is tart , guava
Low sudsing , good tartness , not in your face sharpness
Not a style I usually like ,but, this one I do
Good beer
