Pours opaque, dark brown in color with 1/4 inch head. Taste is cocoa and roasted malt with slight vanilla. Medium-heavy bodied, sweet with moderate carbonation. I really don't get any cream in this. I was expecting an Oreo stout and get more of a straight stout with slight vanilla taste. The peanut butter version was much much better. The stout is solid but I guess I am disappointed with the advertising. Give me Oreo.

Poors a velvety, viscous, dark brown with little head retention
Odor: Mild vanilla
Taste: Extremely smooth with vanilla tones and minor chocolate. The higher-than-normal ABV is cleverly absent in the mouth. No heavy malt aftertaste.
I received a 4 pack for Christmas. I was curious to see how the "Cookies & Cream" would taste. Unfortunately, I was unable to taste any hint of the title flavor-perhaps too eager to get smacked in the face with an Oreo upon first sip. It really seems to be a straight-up Imperial Stout with some mild chocolate flavor up front. Ironically, I appreciated the beer overall as it's actually a well crafted Imperial Stout.

Canned 10/09/20
Pours a dark brown fizzy foamy 1 finger head with med-low retention, a bit of lacing, jet black color
Nose inky black malts, heavy roast and dark dark chocolate, plenty of cookie, like oreo chocolate cookie, cocoa, roasted malt and coffee, a little vanilla and cream notes
TAste brings more of the cookie flavor up front, cocoa chocolate oreo like cookie, a little roast and some coffee notes, dark dark chocolate with some vanilla cream, a little baking spice notes, some bitterness from roast and a little spicy hop note, a little alcohol, mild sticky finish, lingering cocoa and cookie notes, and some vanilla cream
Mouth is med to fuller bod, med foamy carb, a little warming alcohol
Overall not bad, thankfully it's not a gimmicky fake stout that tastes like crappy cookie and cream ice cream, but at the same time there wasn't much of it either, but I'd rather it be this way than the gimmicky fake beer, this is at least a nice imperial stout with a little cookies and cream
