Cloudy white to gold color. Moderate head which leaves a web of lace initially but little else after the first few sips.
The nose is weedy and piney with a light alcohol in the background. There’s a background metallic smell.
The flavor is fruit juicy but not overly sweet. Pineapple, mango, and neutral citrus come to mind. Good body with a higher carbonation level than most of their beers. The finish has a black pepper hop bite. Long aftertaste is the result.

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a very hazy orange juice color with a thick one finger head of white foam. The head has a great level of retention, fading very slowly and leaving tons of foamy and bubbly lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is very heavy of pine and orange peel smell mixed with notes of grapefruit hop and some light tropical fruits of papaya, lychee, pineapple, and passionfruit. Along with these aromas comes notes of a graininess and some light smells of must and melon.
Taste – The taste begins with a nice hit of pine hop mixed with some smooth bready flavors and a touch of oat. Along with these tastes comes a nice showing of grapefruit hop, which grows stronger as the taste advances on the tongue. There is also some of the tropical fruit and some tangerine that was in the nose, with the tropical fruits being strongest of a passionfruit and papaya flavor. As the taste advances, along with the grapefruit getting stronger, so too comes a bit of earth and a bit of dirt, and with notes of must and hay, one is left with a more resinous and slightly dank but well balanced taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body is on the medium to a bit more chewy side with a carbonation level that is moderate and smooth.
Overall – A quite enjoyable and easy natured (almost too easy natured) double hazy IPA. Would get this one again.
