This Winter Ale is brewed with an array of holiday spices and local New England maple syrup. With just the right amount of malt character, Heart and Hearth is not overly sweet with aromas of cinnamon, nutmeg, and brown sugar which leads to flavors of dark cherry and molasses.

Dark amber color, clear. Modest head which leaves a smattering of spots on the glass.

Semisweet smell with cinnamon infused caramel.

Behind the aforementioned caramel and cinnamon comes a Juicy Fruit like finish. The mouthfeel leans rich with a neutral effervescence. No notable alcohol despite the 8.5% abv. Way too easy to drink.

Poured from 16 oz can into a tulip glass; no discernable birth date. Pours golden brown with initial one finger of head that rapidly recedes. Faint smell of spices and maple syrup; taste follows. As the beer warms, the flavors become more pronounced albeit not any more discernable. Good.

Pours a clear reddish brown with a 1/2F head and light lacing.

Smells of toasted malt and maple syrup.

Tastes of sweet, toasted malt, maple syrup, cherries and nutmeg with a slightly spicy bitter, alcohol warm finish.

Medium light body with very light carbonation. Lightly syrupy mouthfeel.

This brew definitely gets more tasty and complex as one's glass warms.
