A: crystal clear; medium gold in color; a 1 finger finely pored ivory head that receded to a skim cap with a moderate tight collar; nice rings of lace;

S: slightly sweet floral;

T: slightly bitter floral up front; follows the nose from the middle through the finish; mild bitterness at the end that increases to moderate in the aftertaste;

M: medium bodied; moderate carbonation; dry finish;

O: while I don’t love the sweetness that pops up in the aroma and flavor, I do appreciate the complexity that separates this from many other pilsners;

Light amber appearance with a lasting white head.
Medium carbonation with about a medium body which all added up to a nice feel.
Aroma is malt, citrus zest, cereal, grain, earthy hops.
Taste has a mild sweetness to start yet finishes almost dry with earthy bitter hops. Cereal, grains,toasted grain and malt.
Overall I found it to be a well made complex enjoyable beer

Clear light amber with plenty of foam in the Hopleaf goblet. Slight aroma of something herbal. Sharp and spritzy on the tongue with a substantial body. There is a flicker of grainy flavor in the first taste. The bitterness, however, takes over the whole show. It is just bitter and unpleasant after that first sip. From the 16 oz can shipped from Half Time. Not dated.

Crystal clear neutral gold color. Smaller head but it does leave a couple of splotches of lace on the glass.

There's a mild sweetness in the malt portion of the smell. The hop is subtle providing little more than a light counterbalance.

The taste is a flip of the smell. Here, the hops dominate and the malt is in the background. Dryer than expected with an elevated carbonation level. Neutral body. Bitter aftertaste with a touch of stone fruit (peach mostly).

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – the beer pours a clear golden color with a puffy head of white foam. The head has a great level of retention, fading over time and leaving tons of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is heavy of a bready and doughy smell with notes of grain and a bit of herb.
Taste – The taste starts with a bready and grainy malt flavor paired with a bit of caramel sweetness. There are also notes of an earthy and floral hop mixed with a bit of hay. As the taste advances, the grain intensifies while the sweet fades, all the while the hops get a touch stronger, leaving one with a nice grainy and decently hopped (for a pilsner) taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is medium in chewiness and creaminess with a moderate carbonation level.
Overall – A nice sipper overall. Would take this one on again.
