Good starting head which settles to rim bubbles. Lacey ring left behind the first sip. Random streaks and spots thereafter. Crystal clear, darker amber.
A bit of brewery floor smell initially. Some sweeter caramel, reminiscent of a Pumpkin Ale without any pumpkin.
Full bodied for the style but also with ample carbonation. Strong caramel taste but drier than the smell indicates. Quite bitter for a Red but the overall effect is a well-balanced beer.
