I love good Farmhouse Ale like this one.

(L) The color is hazy light golden/yellow with a very thick frothy white head.

(A) The aroma is sweet grapefruit.

(T) The taste is grassy, grapefruit, citrus, honey, perhaps some floral notes, just delicious.

(F) It is a bit dry but easy to drink but watch out when you pour it is foamy.

750 ml bottle, Batch B004, bottled on 12/15/2015. Served in a Prairie Teku, the beer pours a hazy golden/orange color with about a couple inch white head that stayed around for a while. Head retention is really good, and there's a good amount of lacing. Aroma is nice and mostly sweet, the brew smells like honey, sweet tropical fruit, lemon peel and some funk. Taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some grassy hops, white grape and rye noticeable. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's creamy and there's a lot of carbonation. However, it's soft carbonation and it's easy to drink. This is certainly one of the better Little Fish brews I've tried, I'd pick up anything new that I've seen from them (that and anything else that they brew)! $14.99 a bottle.

A - Medium hazy orange color with a massive rocky, sticky white head.

S - Citrus zing, grapefruit, lemon zest, and barnyard funk.

T - Bright citrus funk, dry citrus tang, and spicy citrus rind on the back end.

M - Prickly up front with a creamy dry finish.

O - This is a pretty amazing beer!

This poured out as a hazy yellow color with a white head on top. The smell of the beer is on the sweeter side, really nice fruity floral and honey notes. The taste of the beer is much like the aroma, starts off sweet then finishes with a but of funk. The feel of the beer is medium bodied, well carbonated. Overall a very impressive Saison.
