Poured into a Wicked Weed snifter. No freshness date.
A- Pours a medium brown color with a 1/4 inch light tan head that retains a bit before becoming a thick ring around the edge of the glass and a large bubbly side patch of surface foam. Resilient lacing leaves a thin ring behind.
S- Solid Brett funk with a toasty malt backing. Notes of caramel, brown sugar and leather.
T- Interesting synthesis of Brett funkiness at the start transitioning into a sweet malty finish. This is definitely the more rustic type of Brett with earthy tones of horseblanket rather than the medicinal type I usually encounter. Dry, oaky finish. Also, the alcohol is concealed quite well.
M- Slightly creamy with medium carbonation and a body leaning toward the fuller side.
O- A very unique beer. While this isn't something I would consistently drink, I like the originality and the flavors all mesh well together. Quite an interesting concept.

Poured from a 750ml bottle into the modified tulip glass.
A - Translucent mahogany colored backdrop, little carbonation, a ring of evidence clings to the glass.
S - Fruited brett, barrel notes, dried dark fruit, burnt sugar, this is complicated.
T - Follows the nose parade, equally a mixed bag, Old ale, or attempt at Flanders red? I like the threadas it warms.
F - Thin in body, but the best element of this offering.
O - I enjoyed the opportunity, an old ale treated with a more delicate path I hope is in the future from Little Fish.
Cheers

$14.99 for a 750ml bottle.
All over the map with taste with brett bitterish and mild malt. Too much going on for this style. Sometimes less is more and that rings true for this beer.

750 ml bottle, bottled on 2/16/16. Served in a DFH snifter, the beer pours a dark copper/reddish color with about an inch light tan head that stuck around a while. There's also a lot of lacing. The brew smells like tart and sweet dark fruit, caramel, oak, and some earthy funk. Taste is similar to the aroma with dark fruit (tart cherry, plum, red grapes), oak, earthy funk, caramel, and some vanilla flavor. Nice mix of sweet, tart and earthy flavors. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's a bit coating and has a low/moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was a good overall brew, I'll have to pick up another bottle and see how it ages. $14.99 a bottle.

Brett adds a fantastic characteristic to this old ale. Loving it.
