Tasted from that tap at the Little Fish taproom in downtown Dayton, OH.
Dark gold to light copper color and clear. No real head in my pour. Aromas of flowery hops/yeast and light grain. Cracker-like grainy note, then very strong black pepper and herbal character in the palate. Light to moderate body and moderate carbonation. Medium to strong hops bitterness. Light alcohol warmth. This is a good biere de garde. I wished for more head and carbonation, but that's just nit-picking.
