I got a tall boy can of this beer from the Perfect Pour store in Dublin Ohio. It poured an opaque dark with tan head that is not leaving much lace. The scent had dark chocolate and subtle roast notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with semi sweet dark chocolate malt base with subtle coffee and vanilla presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body with smoove carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

From a growler via Jungle Jim's Eastgate and enjoyed from a snifter.
This nice stout pours a deep dark brownish black with cola highlights and
a nice head of off white foam that settles to a thin ring, thin wispy pool,
and features some nice light lacing. Nose of deeply roasted malts, subtle
coffee, and subtle char. Flavors surpass the nose with deep char and dark
coffee notes awash in smooth oats touched lightly with a herbal hop
note on the rear that pairs nicely with the coffee and bitter chocolate
notes. Nice mouth feel; medium full body, medium light carbonation
that makes for a nice session brew, and a deeply roasted and char
touched finish that is perfect for the stout lover.
Overall this is a fantastic stout that is worthy of being called a stout.
In a world overloaded with hops and odd ingredients it is more than
enjoyable to find a SOLID English style oatmeal stout that is true to style.
More please!
Cheers
