1 PINT, 6 FL. OZ. bottle
Served in a snifter
Bottled 7/8/20, 15.65%abv
This beer pours black and is topped with a little tan head that leaves no lacing.
The smell is chocolate, roasted malt, and alcohol with hints of black coffee and anise.
The taste is dark chocolate, coffee, a little anise, and oak.
Medium mouthfeel with a dry mouthful
It's a little hot. It is better as it approaches room temperature. I probably should have aged it longer. My bad. I do like a huge BA stout though.

5 oz taster poured the daily growler GVBD
L - black with no head
S - boozy, bourbon is all I’m getting
T - bourbon, malt, caramel, but whiskey is predominant
F - thick mouthfeel with some carbonation on the finish
O - the bourbon is a bit too prominent for me, almost overpowers all other flavors

From the bomber in a snifter via Bluejacket----cheers dude!
This mighty brew pours a rugged coal black with dark tea highlights
and a modest head of tan foam that settles to a thick ring with
faint lacing. Nose of heavy bourbon, rich vanilla, oak, toffee, char,
dark chocolate, and subtle berry notes. Flavors are exceptional with
a full on bourbon assault with caramel and brown sugars, vanilla, and
rich oak. Delicious dark chocolate and dark fruit of blueberry and
raisin mingle nicely with char, cream, and brulee elements. Nice
mouth feel; full body, smooth, rich, warming, medium light carbonation
that offers needed lift, and a rich bourbon finish that is lightly
dry.
overall----WOW.....nothing more to say other than excellence
in a bottle!
Cheers

32 ounce crowler, filled on 5/25/20. Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch tan head that fizzled away quickly. Pretty much no lacing at all. I like the aroma, the brew smells like bourbon, dark fruit (raisin, plum), vanilla, caramel, chocolate and roasted malt. For the most part I think the taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also the addition of some oak, dark bread, nuts and toffee flavors. Little boozy too, but then it is 13.5% ABV. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's slick and smooth with a low/moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was a pretty good overall barrel aged imperial stout. Good amount of barrel character and an all around tasty brew. Wish this would have been bottled, but I guess it was a limited batch. Little Fish aren't known for their imperial stouts, but I wish they'd make more of them. Definitely worth trying if you come across some!
