We made this special batch of beer for Sexual Assault Awareness Month (April). This sour brown ale was infused with Earl Grey tea and rose petals, in a single red wine barrel, and bottle conditioned. $2 from every bottle sold in the taproom will benefit SAOP, the Survivor Advocacy Outreach Program, a local organization that works with sexual assault survivors. Remember to get CONSENT, ALWAYS!

16.9 ounce bottle, Batch B064, bottled on 03/28/19. Served in a Teku, the beer pours a burnt orange/brown color with about an inch light tan head that stuck around a while. There's a decent amount of lacing. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like Earl Grey tea/bergamot, red grapes/wine, oak, earthiness and some caramel. For the most part the taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some tart cherry and citrus flavors noticeable too. All the flavors mesh well together, no one flavor overpowers the other. I was kinda hoping for a stronger Earl Grey tea flavor here but that's really not a complaint at all. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's smooth with a moderate amount of carbonation. Overall I liked this brew, certainly worth a try if you come across some.
