32 ounce crowler, filled on 8/10/2020. Served in a dimpled mug, the beer pours a mostly clear amber color with about an inch off-white head that stuck around for a while. Decent amount of lacing. The brew smells like toasted malt, bread/grain and some maple. Taste is similar to the aroma, but there's the addition of some earthy hops. There's a slight bitterness in the finish. Maple is noticeable but by no means is it strong at all although it does show up more as the beer warms. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's smooth and easy to drink with a good amount of carbonation. I thought this was a good overall maibock, was kinda hoping the maple would have been stronger in this one but with that being said I liked it. Worth a try if you're ever at the taproom or decide to place an in-state shipping order with them.
