Brewed with malted Ohio 2-row barley and wheat from our friends at Haus Malts, attic-aged whole cone hops, and a blend of house cultures. It spent 26 months in a used white wine barrel, before being packaged and further conditioned for months.

Lightly foggy amber with a short white head that settles to a dense curled ring around a lily pad film.
Oh boy, it's a bit more sour, funky and spicy than I prefer, almost like pickled daikon, but no where near as acidic as similar Jackie O's beers have become. I may have set my expectations a little too high here based on the description, but I'd like to see them continue to improve in this space. However, it does feature a few rubbery, resinous hop characteristics, which are indeed appropriate.
As far as feel goes, the lightly airy medium body finishes powder dry.
