16.9 ounce bottle, Batch #4, bottled 01/25, thanks to Brutaltruth for this one! Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with about a half inch tan head that stuck around a little while. Small amount of lacing. I like the aroma, the brew smells like dark chocolate, roasted malt, rye whiskey, oak, vanilla and some dark fruit. For the most part the taste is similar to the aroma, but there's the addition of some dark bread, nutty and brown sugar flavors. Good amount of barrel character! Mouthfeel/body is full, it's a bit slick and rich with a moderate amount of carbonation. I liked this one a lot, but then I've liked the imperial stouts I've tried from Little Fish in the past. Definitely worth trying this one!

From the 1 pt 9 fl oz bottle in a snifter. This exceptional brew pours a dark
blackish brown with a subtle head of khaki foam that settles to a thin ring
with some decent legs. Nose of rich bourbon, oak, vanilla, dates, chocolate,
and brown sugars with vinous brandy nuances. Flavors floor me....oak, vanilla,
moderate char, date bread, brown sugars, vinous brandy, subtle coffee, and dark
berry notes. Mouth feel is full, smooth, moderately coating, warming, light
carbonation, and finishing moderately dry.
Overall, this one is top tier brewing at it's finest. Worthy of winning
any festival entry and just plain stellar.
As per the other variants, and any imperial stout they do, if
they brew it....it is good!
Cheers
