A Belgian style beer with an Italian soul.
T. Malefica comes from a strongly malted must and a balanced use of hops. It needs aggressive yeasts that turn the must into alcohol within a few weeks, and a minimum of two months ripening in the bottle, where the last complex sugars continue to ferment, defining its rich organoleptic spectrum.
This beer has some warm and sweet notes, and thanks to its complexity, it is great to be paired with main dishes, but also to be drunk alone for a drinking session with friends.

Murky orange body with a full pearl white head, tons of lacing. Smells of big yeast with mild cereal grain, with faint stone fruit and dark fruit with floral hops, odd. Woah this beer is a mind bender, yeast is not belgian on the palate and before we even get to that we get lots of sweet dark, yes dark, fruit with anise, before the notes of the nose mildly support the yeast. Feel just comes across off, yeast is weirdly harsh, the malt work is very smooth and wholistic though, a fitting end to an odd one
