a peach ipa here, and there is quite a lot of both peach and hops, way more from the hops here than in their amarillo ipa i had in the same sitting here, although im not sure what hops are in the mix here. the beer is light in color, doesnt have a ton of body or malt character to it, so the hops and peach really drive it pretty unimpeded. the peach is a little sweet in here and less than fully natural to me, although far from cheap and fake too, just seems a little candied or something, peach ice cream rather than an actual peach, something like that. the hops have highly complimentary citrus tons, orange first, and enough bitterness later on the balance the peach power, it smells a little better than it tastes, but its pleasant, and i reckon would be a nice transition into the ipa style where the fruitiness of the hops play well with the actual fruit, and could bring some people into the style pretty easily. i always look for a bit more of a natural fruit flavor in these, but its cool to see a fruited ipa these days that isnt a citrus fruit, seems like those just dominate now. good but not great, less than clean on the fermentation side with a touch of that like musty wet towel character to it, i wish all their stuff was better on that side of things, but this isnt bad.
