definitely one of the more refined beers i have had from these guys, still a little amateur, but its good, drinkable, and you can really taste the honey without the beer ever being particularly sweet, which is hard to do and comes through nicely in this. a little cloudiness and a short white head from the tap. it smells of fresh white wheat malt and floral honey, a little sweetness to it, but nothing out of proportion or to slow down drinkability. subtle orange and even jasmine notes to it, simple but expressive. the flavor is solid, again kind of minimal, but the elements are all there and the proportions are good. the fermentation is one of the cleaner i have found in any of their beers, still a tad soapy, but it works in a wheat beer like this in a way that it hasnt at all in some of their others. the honey is bright but is close to gone on the swallow, and all this is really missing is a little better carbonation for an uplifting feel, it sags just a little in that regard. overall though, this is tasty and seems appropriate for spring. perhaps the beers are getting better here...
