Poured from tap into a pint glass. Deep brown in color with lighter brown highlights, a thin off-white head and nice lacing. Aromas of dark chocolate and cocoa with roasted chestnuts. Medium to thin bodied, smooth and very subtle finish that barely lingers. Overall, a very crushable porter, but lacks anything particularly memorable.

Had on tap. Loved the idea for this. Execution was ok. The smell was not as rich or full as one would hope, with malt and hints of sugar. Taste was a bit muted by the malt presence, and I want that molasses! Body felt undercut a bit and not as full for the style. Almost would have been better as a brown ale
