In celebration of our third anniversary and new production facility, we are excited to introduce the East Boone Pils. This classic German style lager is brewed with Pilsen malt and fermented at cooler temperatures to produce a light, crisp, and refreshing beer. Grab a pint and join us as we celebrate the first of many new adventures in East Boone. Cheers!

It pours yellow and it brillianlty clear. It has a white head with very good head retention. It features pils malt and spice. It is malty with slight herbal as well. It has a crisp finish.

Poured into a glass tumbler. No canned on date.

A: Pale clear gold hue with 1-2 finger frothy white head with good retention and several thin lines of lacing down the glass.

S: Honey and bready pale pils malt with small kiss of herbal-floral hops

T: Flavor is solid but is lacking in bitterness for the German pils style. This beer has low bitterness which hurts its crispness and drinkability. There are no off-flavors. The honey-bread pils maltiness is pleasing and the hop flavor is soft herbal noble hops. But the bitterness is lacking. it is clean and without major esters.

M: Feel is hurt a bit by the lack of a more assertive hop bitterness. Light-bodied but not as crisp or dry as it could be with more bitterness.

O: There is nothing wrong or off about Booneshine East Boone Pils, but with more bitterness, this beer could shine a lot brighter.

A: Pours a clear pale yellow in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising quickly from the bottom of the glass and faint straw yellow colored highlights. The beer has a two finger tall sudsy fizzy foamy bright white head that reduces to a large patch of very thin film covering a little more than 85% of the surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Light amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Moderate aromas of bready malts with a very light amount of grainy sweetness with light aromas of grassy hops.

T: Upfront there are just shy of moderate flavors of bready malts with a very light amount of grainy sweetness. That is followed by light flavors of grassy hops which impart a light amount of bitterness which slowly fades away leaving a relatively clean finish.

M: Light bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Crisp and clean.

O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and very refreshing. enjoyable with a pleasant light flavor and aroma.
