This double-mashed Imperial Stout has the velvety texture of a latte, the deep roast of fresh espresso, and the aroma of maple toasted hazelnuts. Aged on real Sugar Maple Wood to commemorate the land it was brewed to preserve, this syrup-on-pancakes Imperial Stout is bound to stand the test of time.

Appearance: Arrives espresso colored with a tan film; splashy lacing
Smell: Chocolate, coffee and maple aromatics with a hint of hazelnut
Taste: Chocolate and maple forward with some hazelnut emerging; the coffee arrives to add complexity to the finish
Mouthfeel: Full bodied and creamy with low to moderate carbonation\
Overall: I enjoyed this very much; I was worried that it was going to be too sweet for my palate but the coffee put a brake on that

Amazingly non-boozy for the ABV. Very pleasant drink. Super glad to see Booneshine self-distribute the the Raleigh area.
