Pours a cloudy, deep golden coloration with a medium, fluffy head. Smells of biscuity malt and grassy, floral hops, with some fruity highlights of tangerine. Taste is a good balance of biscuity malt and grassy, floral, fruity, slightly spicy hops, with citrus notes of tangerine and just a hint of peach and pine. Finishes with a medium bitterness and some grassy/floral hops and hints of tangerine lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
While I'm not really a huge fan of IPLs, this seems like a pretty nice example of the style, kinda combining the crispness of a lager with the hoppy fruitiness of an IPA, as well as old world with new world hops for an interesting mix of floral, grassy and fruity notes. While it might seem a little neither here nor there, that's probably just my personal preference. Overall, this makes for an enjoyable India Pale Lager that feels quite crisp and fresh, with a good mix of floral/fruity and sweet/bitter notes.
