Very flavorful and smooth stout. This is an excellent example of the style, and is my favorite cold-weather beer. Recommended.

Nice, easy drinking stout. Tons of flavor that leans towards cocoa more than hops. Have had on several occasions and the consistency has been very solid. I get one whenever they have it

At the brewery in Oakdale. Smells stoney and slightly like cough medicine, but not necessarily bad. Sweet. Smooth. A bit weak overall. Just average in general.

Pours opaque black, tan head is fine and retains well.
Smells of walnut, caramel, roasted coffee and oatmeal.
Flavor is of nutty and woody malts, walnut and pecan with some oak, and roast and oatmeal. Dry woody finish.
Body is medium and viscous, carbonation is low and velvety.
Nice oatmeal stout with loads of flavor for the strength. Feels like a decently full beer and drinks well, really surprised to get this much out of a 4.9. Really good in that regard.
