Formosa Light pours a pale golden colour and has a subtle, malty aroma. Light citrus notes make it very refreshing on the palate, with a clean and crisp finish.

A poor quality beer, metallic watery, sour dry finish. no aroma nor taste. Some herbal quality and sourness. Overcarbonated. Everything you don't want in a beer. Save for a macro blind tasting. At the brewery. Not the worst beer ever, but surprisingly weak for something on tap.

Pours a light gold with a 1 finger cap that has moderate retention and light lacing. Well carbonated.
Aromas of boiled grains, slight sourness ( from real lager yeast) and some grassy smells
Medium-light body, thin, sandy mouthfeel. Light malts up front become balanced by a light lemony decernment from the hops. Clean finish with light bready tones and a final hop dryness.
A pleasant all-malt light beer with a flavor profile approximating a light edelhell. A premium light beer.

A bit thin and one-dimensional, but that is a characteristic of the style - the brewer doesn't have a lot to work with. Brick pulled this off fairly well - enough mouthfeel to know it is there, with some mild grain notes and a bit of citrus. I'd have liked a bit of hops presence, but that didn't pan out. Better than just about any U.S. light beer, but I don't know that is saying a lot.
