Brewed using only the finest 100% Canadian barley and hand-selected hops. The result is a distinct, clean, crisp taste leaving this full-bodied premium ale with a pleasantly smooth finish.

This is one of those things that you buy to pound back when you don't care about your beer, but you're all about the price. As a matter of fact, this line of beers has long been marketed on that basis. Soooo, if you want to "treat" your pocketbook rather than enjoy a flavourful beer, buy this. Not offensive, but not delicious either.

Bottle from the brewery retail outlet.

OK My ratings whore instinct took over my better judgement and I tried one of these buck a beer wonders from the Brick.

Pours a flacid yellow gold with a small quickly vanishing cap, no lacing to speak of. Fizzy carbonation.

Light grainy sweet aroma no hop presence

Thin mouth feel, graininess with a detectable fruity note and stale hops fast abrupt finish, no off tastes but pretty cheap.

Kinda like a resurrected poor boy Molson Golden ale.

Bottle from the beer store. The newest in a long line of value beers from this brewer. Sparkling golden pour with a fizzy and short lived white fizz. Grainy nose has a touch of frutiness. Tastes of sweet grains, some honey, grassy. High carbonation is rough on the palate.
