22 oz bomber traded from Donald poured into Carpe Brew'Em snifter.
Deep dark shiny black color with a thin ring of beige head.
On the nose I get aromas of heavy caramel and toasted malts, dark wheat, oats, lactose, slight dark chocolate, slight lemon, slight metal. Very organic smelling.
Flavor is of dark chocolate malt, dark wheat, oats, slight coffee, dark chocolate, and slight lactose. The raw malts are very detectable, as I said this beer is very organic.
Feel is crisp and sharp, with some dryness and roastiness. Near zero detectable alcohol.
Overall, an okay oatmeal stout, the most interesting part of this is the taste of the malts as if you just popped a kernel of each malt from the bill in your mouth. No interference from hops or yeast. Very malty. Not bad.
