This Vermont inspired IPA focuses on the aromatic side of the hop profiles. While not as "hazy" as some of the new East Coast IPA's, this beer derives it's appearance from the bonds occurring while dry hopping during active fermentation. It is dry hopped again after terminal gravity making it a double dry hopped, refreshing pale.

my first beer from these guys, and the first i have really even heard of them, on tap at the new growler usa in sloans lake. a beer thats clearly jumping on the east coast bandwagon with the name and all, but from the tap it looks a lot better than a lot of them do in this style, sure there is some haze, but its mild and uniform and the beer still looks bright in the glass under a thick lathery off white head, no milkiness or heaviness to this at all visually. aroma is nice, sort of a generic hop profile but its fresh. two things stand out to me about this beer in respect to its peers. the first is that its all the way fermented out, an actually finished beer, thanks for doing that guys! secondly, it still has some bitterness, its not all that juicy dry hopped tropical complexion, although thats here too, there is some nice finishing bite to support, and i still need that in my ipa, even if i am in the minority these days. i really like the creamy feel of it, obviously some wheat malt in here, i would think, and even though the hops are immediately familiar, i like it being sort of approachable in that already known kind of way. this surprised me, its dry and bubbly and bitter and a lot better than expected, a nice introduction to this brewery even if its hopping on a trend and not cutting its own path. ill drink more from these guys for sure!
