Deep red in colour with a slight coffee roast smell. Flavour is rich with a chocolate and liquorice essence.

half pint grabbed quickly from Piccadilly Gardens Wetherspoon's
It came out of the handpump looking rather flat without a head
but it was a decent enough cask offering
There is a tartness & astringent flavour that knocks the shine of a coffee tasting decent porter
just with it's heritage I expected a lot more
